Lingyun Liu received her Ph.D in Bioengineering at the University of Washington in 2007 under the supervision of Prof. Shaoyi Jiang and Prof. Buddy Ratner. She joined the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Akron in August, 2007 as Assistant Professor.

Graduate Students
Qingsheng Liu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Polymer Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He joined the Liu group in fall of 2010 . His research focuses on multi-functional polymers for biomedical applications.

Wenchen Li received her B.S. Degree in Material Chemistry from Tianjin University in 2012. In the spring of 2013, she joined Prof. Liu’s group. Her research interest focuses on zwitterionic polymers for biomedical applications.

Undergraduates
Anuradha Singh completed her Masters degree in Chemistry from Allahabad University(India) in 2010. She is pursuing certification course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Florida and joined Prof Liu’s group in summer of 2011. Her research interest includes biomedical research, drug delivery & medicinal chemistry.
