Our paper entitled “Erosion of Ceramic Matrix Composite by Multi-Scale Modeling” was awarded Honorable Mention for Outstanding Papers at the SAMPE 2018 Conference in Long Beach, CA. This was work performed in collaboration with AlphaSTAR Corporation.
Congratulations to Sulochana for successfully defending her Masters Thesis and on her graduation! Sulochana will now continue on as a PhD student focusing on the performance and durability of additive-manufactured Ti-6Al-4V.
Congratulations to Rabih, Yogesh, and Mani on the selection for best paper from the 2017 ASME Turbo Expo Technical Conference. The award winning paper is entitled “Study of interlaminar fracture properties of ceramic matrix composites at room and elevated temperatures.” ASME Paper No. GT2017-65168.
