Research Topics
We at Wireless Communication Laboratory (WCL) are interested in variety of research topics in wireless communications and networks. In particular, we are currently working on the following research problems:
Wireless communications
– Highly energy-efficient wireless transceivers and energy-efficient communication schemes and networks
– Novel sensing paradigms for cognitive radio communications such as spatial sensing
– User scheduling and multiuser MIMO communication with limited feedback using compressive sensing
– Signal processing for advanced antenna arrays such as coupled antenna arrays to enhance capacity of MIMO communication and networks
– Low-complexity optimal and near-optimal transmission/reception algorithms
Smart Grids
– Modeling and optimization of smart grids
– Security and attack detection in smart girds
