(2) What about your non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a
judge?
Prior to becoming a magistrate and then a judge, I worked as an
attorney representing individuals primarily in family law cases.

(3) Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I have served as Judge in the Fairfield County Domestic Relations
Court for the past 6 1/2 years, and I am seeking re-election. Prior to
becoming the Judge, I worked as a Magistrate in this Court for 14 years.
I have presided over and decided complicated divorce and custody
cases, contempt and child support matters, as well as cases involving
domestic violence civil protection orders. I am qualified and prepared
to capably address the legal matters which come within the jurisdiction
of the Court.
During my years on the bench, I have established a solid record of
judicial integrity, fairness, and attentiveness. Our system of
government requires a fair and impartial judiciary. Judges have the
responsibility to make predictable decisions based on the evidence, the
law, and the proper procedure. I have the experience, knowledge,
integrity and even temperament necessary to serve as a fair, effective
and good Judge for the people of Fairfield County. I am committed to
making my courtroom a place where all people are treated with respect
and dignity. For these reasons, I seek re-election.
