465 MARC records provided by OhioLINK were recently loaded for the OhioLINK YBP E-Book project. These records represent a combination of both discovery (non-purchased) and purchased titles. These records are available in the UAL Catalog and will be available in Search-A-Roo within 3-4 working days.

1,611 MARC records provided by OhioLINK were recently loaded for the Wiley Online Library. 602 existing records were overlaid and 1,009 new records were created. These records are available in the UAL Catalog now and will be available in Search-A-Roo within the next 26-48 hours.

In preparation for the Discovery service (Search-A-Roo) launch on Saturday, September 28th, Serials Solutions catalog records have been suppressed from the UAL Catalog. We will replace these records with new records in the near future. In the interim, if you need to know if we have access to an ejournal search the A-to-Z list.
On Saturday, Sept 28th we will make the new EBSCO discovery service (Search-A-Roo) available from the library homepage. You will see the search box prominently displayed. It does not replace any of our existing resources, but does provide a way for our patrons to search most of our resources at once.
In conjunction with this, we will also make the switch to the new A-to-Z List for eJournals that we receive as part of the EBSCO discovery service package. This replaces our old A-to-Z.
Finally, as part of this implementation we will temporarily suppress our catalog records for the majority of our ejournals. We will be replacing these records with new records in the near future. In the interim, if you want to know if we have access to an ejournal you simply need to search the A-to-Z list instead of the catalog.
The implementation of this new discovery service is a work in progress, not only for us but for all the OhioLINK libraries that have embarked on this adventure! We appreciate your patience and your feedback as we continue to develop this service.
3,354 records were loaded for the Classical Music Library collection on 5/14/2013. Records loaded include the original CML set and supplements 1-5, and 7. Supplements 6, 8-9 will be loaded once they become available for download. Link to example CML record: http://library.uakron.edu/record=b4494270
11,640 MARC records were recently loaded for Legislative Insight. 9,333 records were loaded on 2/18 and 2,314 records were loaded on 2/19.

Last fall, OCLC & NAXOS announced the availability of additional WorldCat records for the NAXOS Music Library Collection and UL has recently purchased these MARC records. A catch-up file of 21,455 MARC records were loaded into the UAL Catalog on 1/8/13. 21,368 new records were created and 87 existing records were overlayed.
Updated MARC record files will be loaded monthly.

7,356 MARC records for ICPSR were loaded into the UAL Catalog on 1/10/13. 5,892 of these records are available for public display in the catalog.
The remaining 1,464 records did not come with URLS and have been suppressed from public view. These records will be made available as URLs are generated by e-Services.
