Three graduate research assistant positions
Dr. Gupta is seeking applications for the doctoral positions from creative and highly motivated students interested in the interdisciplinary fields of metallurgy, corrosion, electrochemistry, material characterization and alloy design. The available research topics include:
- Development of ultra-high strength and corrosion resistant Mg alloys
- Studying electrochemical behavior of nanostructured Al alloys
- Corrosion of additively manufactured stainless steels and modification of feedstock material
