Please note the link to Footprints on the UL Portal links to the main Footprints problem reporting form. In order to ensure your problem report gets routed promptly and properly to either Systems (Mike, Susan, and Marlene) or Web-Electronic Services (Trevor, Frank, and Anna), please do the following:
In the Ticket Information section, select Departmental Request in the Request Type drop down and select Library under Category. The Problem Type drop down menu will then display the problem types you are used to seeing the on the Library Systems Footprints form.
eServices is working on getting a secured link to the Library Systems Footprints form and will post it when it is available. If you have any questions click on Reply, type your question and I will get back to you.
Someone said something about RSS training? And what is RSS?
RSS is a way to put live bookmarks on your browser and/or in Outlook so you can monitor posts to blogs without actually going to a blog’s website. At the moment you need to come to the portal page to see what’s posted – it doesn’t automatically send you a message when there are new posts. It is possible to use an RSS feed, however, that makes it easy to check for new posts without actually coming to the page. On Feb 4 we will hold a training session in Bierce 274 from 1-2 pm.
Put it on your calendar!
RSS Feed introduction and training – Feb 4, 1.00-2.00pm, Bierce 274

7,356 MARC records for ICPSR were loaded into the UAL Catalog on 1/10/13. 5,892 of these records are available for public display in the catalog.
The remaining 1,464 records did not come with URLS and have been suppressed from public view. These records will be made available as URLs are generated by e-Services.
