Tsige’s group has a 32-node 2.8 GHz AMD Opteron cluster and two NVIDA GeForce GTX480 graphics processing units (GPUs). And, as of March 2020, an additional 2080Ti GPU (Intel i9 13.5 TFlops single precision calculation) is online. The University of Akron’s Internet and Server Systems (ISS) department  hosts and maintains the machines and provides technical assistance to the group via its systems administrators. Students and researchers in the group use personal local machines located in the student offices in Goodyear Polymer Center 825 for much of their visualization and post analysis needs. All group members have constant remote access to the group cluster and GPU to run and monitor simulations. Occasionally the group secures run time at the Ohio Supercomputer Center.
