The Hanns Swarzenski and Brigitte Horney Swarzenski Fellowship will be awarded to a promising young scholar for study and research at the Museum. Preference will be given to applicants with a proven interest in museum work or those planning to pursue a museum career in the field of medieval art. Should in any given year the Grants Committee find no suitable candidate for a fellowship in medieval art, the Museum may instead select a suitable candidate in the field of European decorative arts.

National Dance Project: Presentation Grants

Deadline: November 16, 2015

hese grants support the dance field by making it possible for presenters to bring artists and companies into their communities, enabling audiences across the nation to experience work by some of today’s most creative and compelling dance artists. Each year, 25 to 30 NDP projects are featured in engagements in an average of 250 communities across the country. These touring engagements create new connections between the public and artists, offer unique opportunities for artistic growth, and increase access to the arts and the creative process.
