The Foundation values and supports the role the arts play in making Cleveland and its region a more desirable place to live, fostering the growth of a creative workforce, catalyzing development in neighborhoods and serving as a bridge between various segments of the community. The Foundation encourages a lively, diverse arts community in Greater Cleveland by funding local projects that emphasize artistic quality, innovative programming, reaching new audiences and organizational development.
George Washington Book Prize
Deadline: November 30, 2015
The prize is awarded annually for the finest scholarly work in English that contributes to a greater understanding of the American founding era (c. 1760-1820). Publishers and authors are invited to submit books that meet these criteria.
