National Endowment for the Humanities chairman to speak at Tri-C on May 5

William Adams, chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will visit Cuyahoga Community College on Thursday, May 5, to lead the first community forum hosted by the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center.

Adams “will discuss how to connect the humanities with civic engagement,” a key mission at the new Mandel Humanities Center, Tri-C said in a news release. He’ll be interviewed by Lauren Onkey, chair and dean of the center.

The conversation will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 5 in the Simon and Rose Mandel Theatre at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus, 4250 Richmond Road in Highland Hills.

Celeste Prize
