Hello everyone, Maker Faire Wayne County happened on a hot and beautifully sunny day on Saturday, May 21st.  The University of Akron Wayne College’s Student Life Building and grounds were full of inventive makers and curious faire goers, making for a packed and exciting event.  Faire goers were greeted to carnival music from Rob Gregory’s calliope, while Zydeco Bistro and Ye Old School Bus offered meals and ice cream to hungry patrons.   This year faire hosted almost 50 “makers” of all ages, those who are creative, inventive, and passionate about their hobby and excited to share what they do.  Maker Faire is all aboutRead More →
