Dr. Yu’e team was awarded an Ohio Third Frontier Technology Validation and Start-up Fund (TVSF) in the amount of $50,000 to test and validate a smartphone based medical device that can be used in low-resource countries to diagnose cervical cancer. Dr. Yu will be collaborating with Dr. En Cheng from Computer Science in the project.
