(3) Why are you running for this particular court seat?
I have truly appreciated the last 13 years that I have served as a Common Pleas Judge, especially my work with Honor Court (a veterans treatment court helping military veterans reclaim their honor, dignity and lives) and the H.O.P.E. Program (Helping Offenders Psychologically and Emotionally–a collaboration of community partners assisting individuals in the criminal justice system with mental illness). I desire to continue this important work on behalf of the citizens of Stark County to ensure the fair administration of justice and to protect our community.
