New Award from National Science Foundation

The NSF ECCS has awarded the University of Akron and Case Western Reserve University a collaborative proposal titled “Collaborative Research: Wideband Multi-Beam Antenna Arrays: Low-Complexity Algorithms and Analog-CMOS Implementations”. The award includes a sub-award to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Congratulations to co-investigators Dr. Shirani Perera, ERAU, and Dr. Soumyajit Mandal, CWRU. The project is part of NSF ECCS unsolicited programs with program manager Dr. Jenshan Lin. The award to UA is worth $224,975 including a $53,535 sub-award to ERAU. Collaborators include Dr. Renato Cintra, UFPE, Brazil, and Dr. Leo Belostotski, University of Calgary, Canada. The PIs are grateful to NSF for supporting this research on 5G wireless communications.
