Post-Graduation Use of Lexis Advance, WestlawNext, and Bloomberg Law

Lexis Advance

Graduating students automatically have access to Lexis Advance through the end of December 2015.  Just continue to use the same username and password you used in law school while you study for the bar exam, research employers and prepare to start your career. You’ll also have access to exclusive resources related to the transition from law school to employment.   Graduates conducting verifiable 501(c)(3) public interest work may sign up for the Lexis ASPIRE Program. This program provides 12 months of free access to federal and state cases, codes, regulations, law reviews, Shepard’s Citation Service and Matthew Bender treatises to graduates who are engaged in verifiable 501(c)(3) public interest work.  Please contact our Lexis Account Representative, Jennifer Durkin, at jennifer.durkin@lexisnexis.com, if you have any questions.

WestlawNext

Graduating students can extend access for 6 months after graduation by registering for Grad Elite at https://lawschool.westlaw.com/registration/gradelite.aspx.  Registered graduates will retain full Westlaw access for 60 hours through November 30, 2015.  If you fail to extend your password you are restricted to 10 hours per month and it will expire in August.  All graduates will also automatically retain access to lawschool.westlaw.com and a number of career-related databases for 18 months following graduation.  Please contact our West Academic Account Manager, Brooke Stokke, at brooke.stokke@thomsonreuters.com, if you have any questions.

Bloomberg Law

Graduates automatically keep full access to Bloomberg Law through their individual account for six months following graduation.  Please contact our Bloomberg Law School Relationship Manager, Chris Bartkowski, at cbartkowski@bna.com, if you have any questions.
