Rural Summer Legal Corps – summer fellowships in West Virginia

Legal Aid of West Virginia seeks summer fellows! Selected Fellows are eligible for the following two Fellowship options if they complete 300 hours of service for the Project in our Logan and Lewisburg offices by August 31, 2016:

There are two possibilities for student stipends.
• Receive $4,000 stipend for 8-10 weeks of service, no service hour minimum. If a law student selects this option, he/she will have the option to request unlimited additional outside funding.
• Receive $4,000 stipend for 8-10 weeks of service amounting to at least 300 hours and add a $1,212 Segal Education Award through the AmeriCorps JD program. If a law student selects this option, he/she may request no more than $300 in additional outside funding.
