American Greetings is looking for an intern to join the Employee Benefits department this summer. Employee Benefits is a technical function of Human Resources that strives to provide affordable, cost effective, competitive benefits for the organization and that are valued by employees. During this 10-week internship, the intern will work on compliance and work with consultant and internal business partners to update Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).  These documents are important as they are required by law and employees rely on them to explain their benefits. The intern will also work with staff on creating a HIPPA compliance program/manual. In addition, you will attend informational sessions, participate in networking activities and enjoy social events with other interns, associates and corporate leaders.  Looking for current sophomore, juniors or graduate students majoring in Human Resources (Benefits) or law.
