IPTLA – Patent Prosecution Nuts and Bolts – Oct. 19, 6:15pm, W-210

IPTLA will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 6:15pm in room W-210. The presenter will be Professor Alvin Rockhill. Professor Rockhill is an adjunct professor her at the University of Akron School of Law and teaches a seminar on patent prosecution. Professor Rockhill has over 28 years of experience in drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications in the United States and numerous foreign countries. The work of Mr. Rockhill has led to the issuance of over 575 utility patents in the United States and hundreds of foreign patents. The majority of Mr. Rockhill’s work over the years has related to chemical inventions. However, Mr. Rockhill has also been involved with numerous inventions that are of a mechanical nature or which relate to other disciplines. Come for this great opportunity to network and get to know other students that are interested in intellectual property law. Food will be provided.
