The School of Law purchased a table of 10 tickets for the 22nd Annual Judge Harold K. Stubbs Awards Banquet which will be hosted by St. Paul A.M.E. Church at the Hilton Inn West (Fairlawn, across from Summit Mall). This is a large event attended by approximately 300 guests. DESCRIPTION: (provided by St. Paul A.M.E. Church) This celebratory dinner will recognize community leaders who have made a difference in the lives of others and have exhibited attributes of the late Judge Harold Stubbs in the areas of law, business, education, government/political action, health, and social concerns. During his lifetime, Judge Stubbs was a very influential figure in the City of Akron and in the State of Ohio. Over the span of Harold’s life, he gave generous portions of time, wisdom, physical energy, and possessions. The celebration will also include presentation of student scholarship awards.
