AkronLawJobs Job No. 3050 – Professor Morath has an available position for a research assistant. The RA will help with an article on preliminary injunctions in environmental cases. An interest in environmental law and/or remedies preferred but not required. A portion of this project involves empirical research, so familiarity with Microsoft Excel is necessary. Pro Bono Opportunity with Summit County Juvenile Court
The Summit County Juvenile Court is seeking one or two law students to volunteer at the court on Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm beginning in January 2012. The opportunity would allow students to work closely with attorneys who are assessing the Juvenile Court’s jurisdiction over custody requests, and to assist in completing pro se pleadings. The Legal Mocktail is an experiential learning program for attorneys-to-be that teaches the basics and nuances of networking.
