Midwest BLSA Law Journal – Seeking Editorial Board Members

APPLY TO SERVE ON THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE MWBLSA LAW JOURNAL!

The MWBLSA Law Journal, published once annually, will give Midwest Black Law Students Association (“MWBLSA”) members an opportunity to submit an article to be considered for publication, as well as increase familiarity with the Bluebook®. In addition, the research required to write and edit the journal will help you master Westlaw®, LexisNexis®, and other sources, making you an invaluable asset to employers. Finally, members of the MWBLSA Law Journal can highlight the significant academic distinction of being an editor of a law journal on their resumes.

The Editorial Board is open to rising second-year and third-year NBLSA members attending a law school in the Midwest Region. Corresponding with the regional theme, the MWBLSA Law Journal theme for the 2012-2013 academic year is “Combat Complacency, Evoke Excellence.”

Please see http://www.nblsa.org/index.php?pID=892 for application details and feel free to contact MWBLSA Law Journal Chief Editor Dominique de Vastey at  mwblsa.chiefeditor@nblsa.org, or MWBLSA Chief of Staff and Akron BLSA Vice-President Lavell Payne at lop2@zips.uakron.edu with questions.
