Volunteers needed for CQE Clinic on July 19th! Earn your pro bono of limited means hours!

The July 19th CQE clinic will take place at Fortis College, 2545 Bailey Road Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Volunteers should plan to arrive at 9:45 a.m. All volunteers should be done no later than 12:45 p.m. This is expected to be a very busy clinic and we need your services!

We hope to see everyone at the July clinic! Let me know if you are able to volunteer and feel free to contact me if you have any questions between now and then!

Planning to graduate this Fall? Graduation Application due no later than July 1

If you are planning to graduate in December 2014, you must apply for graduation no later than July 1, 2014!

Tuesday, July 1, is the graduation application deadline for law students planning to graduate at the end of the 2014 fall semester.

Late applicants will need to obtain the dean’s permission.  Students must apply for graduation through ‘My Akron’.   Step-by-step instructions for submitting a graduation application are available in ‘My Akron’ by clicking the Graduation Services link in the “Quick Links for Students” section of ‘My Akron’.

Please note that, per University policy, all obligations to The University of Akron must be reconciled prior to degree candidacy (i.e., commencement program notation, ceremony attendance and degree conferral).

CQE Clinic Volunteer Training – Friday, July 18, 4:45pm

Our next free Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE) clinic is Saturday, July 19th!  We’re very excited to be providing opportunities for ex-offenders in Summit County to take a step toward gaining employment and independence!

 

We are looking for students to volunteer from 9:45a-12:45p on Saturday, July 19th. The clinic will be held at Fortis College, Cuyahoga Falls. The time you volunteer can be applied toward your graduation requirement as pro bono limited means hours.

 

There will be a volunteer training on Friday, July 18, 4:45-6:00p at the law school. The time you’re at training will count toward your pro bono limited means hours as well.
