Pearne & Gordon LLP in Cleveland seeks Law Clerk

Pearne & Gordon LLP, one of the oldest and largest Intellectual Property Law Firms in Cleveland, Ohio, is accepting resumes for the position of Law Clerk.

The Law Clerk position is designed to expose law students to the field of intellectual property law and provide an evaluation of a clerk’s abilities.

Qualified candidates will:

– Possess a degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, ceramic, glass science, materials science, chemical), physics, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or similar
– Be currently enrolled in law school with one year completed
– Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills
– Have excellent research skills

Responsibilities will include research, drafting patent applications, drafting opinions and other patent and trademark related projects.
