Akron Law Public Interest Law Program – Fall 2014 – Applications for the Fall 2014 Public Interest Law (PIL) Program will be accepted beginning Monday, August 25, 2014. Students interested in applying for a Fall 2014 Public Interest Law award should begin thinking about and securing a public interest placement for their fall PIL work experience. The Public Interest Law Program supports and encourages those students who would like to gain experience in public interest areas.

2014 funding is Monday, September 15 at 12:00 Noon. It is required that you will secure a placement in advance of submitting your application.The Career Connection – Page 4
The application form is to be filled out by the student/applicant. The organization that will employ you as a volunteer law clerk and will provide supervision will need to confirm that in a letter on their letterhead/stationary. They will need to include your start date, end date, number of hours per week on average, supervisor’s name, and a sentence describing your anticipated duties. This letter also needs to be submitted by the application deadline of Monday, September 15,
2014 at 12:00 Noon.
