December Graduates: Did you schedule your exit interview?

December Graduates – time to schedule your exit interviews with CPPO!

Congratulations on your upcoming law school graduation. As part of your graduation clearance, you are required to participate in a brief, 5-10 minute exit interview with the Career Planning & Placement Office (CPPO) staff. During the exit interview, we will collect five forms: 1- the CPPO Survey Form; 2- the Law School Senior Survey; 3- the Bar Exam Review Course Fellowship Form; 4- the NALP Employment survey; and 5 – the Class Directory form.
You should have received an email a couple of weeks ago inviting you to schedule your exit interview and with the form attachments. If you did not receive an email, please email lawcareerplanning@uakron.edu ASAP so that we may send you the information.
We ask that all exit interviews be completed by November 14th. Thank you.

Volunteer Poll Observers Needed for Election Day

Wondering what you can do to help with this year’s election?  Join our Ohio Promote the Vote Team as a Poll Observer!  The objective is to ensure that every eligible voter can register, that every registered voter can vote, and that every vote is accurately counted.

Poll observers serve all day on Election Day—watching for incidents of voter suppression, reporting problems to our regional boiler rooms, and collecting data on voters’ experiences at the polls.  Poll observers are our eyes and ears inside polling locations and they are our first line of defense against voter suppression.

Are you a registered voter of Ohio who can commit to spending a full day at the polls on November 4th?  If so, we need your help!

We will provide training opportunities in October and credentials for your entry into the polling locations.  Sign up by visiting https://secure.ohiodems.org/page/signup/PollObserver2014
or calling (614) 397-5257.

Have questions?  Call Lindsay Langholz at (614) 397-5257 or email us at voterprotection@ohiodems.org.
