Duties would include drafting documents, discovery, assisting with trial preparation, client meetings and some opportunity for assistance with court hearings. Some administrative tasks such as scanning old files and writing web and marketing content may be required as well. Pay starts at $12/hr for approximately 16 hours a week with ability to increase hours.

The Summit County Juvenile Court is seeking a few law students to volunteer at the court on Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm beginning as soon as possible. The opportunity would allow students to work closely with attorneys who are assessing the Juvenile Court’s jurisdiction over custody requests, and to assist in completing pro se pleadings and other forms.
