Hello Akron Law Students!
If you haven’t heard, the Student Bar Association (SBA) is hosting its first Regional Kickball tournament this Saturday, September 19th in support of the Kick-it for the Cure Foundation. The event is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM that day and will be held at the softball field on Akron’s campus.
This event is very important for three reasons:
1) The money we raise from the tournament will be donated to children’s cancer research;
2) It allows Akron Law students and faculty to come together; and
3) It will allow us to mingle with students from other schools, as both Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and Case Western Reserve University School of Law are bringing teams.
We now call upon each of you to help make this event great! Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
• By joining a kickball team; or
• By donating to the Kick-it foundation available at this link:

• By donating at the Akron Law Kick-it table (you’ll see SBA leaders at this table while it is set up in the student lounge at various time throughout the week); or
• By just coming to the event this Saturday to mingle with other law students and faculty.
We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to come support a good cause! If you have any questions about the event, or how to donate, please feel free to reach out to SBA. If you would like to join a team or attend the event, please stop by the Kick-it table sometime this week to let us know.
