Mark your calendars for Monday, March 28, because we will be holding our very last SBA meeting of the semester at 12:15 p.m. in room 301 of the library. We will be discussing the much-anticipated Barristers Ball and Elections for next year’s SBA leadership team (executive board). This meeting is crucial because we will be discussing how to run for SBA positions for the 2016-2017 school year.

AkronLawJobs No. 7241 Overview: Seeking candidates to apply for a judicial clerkship with the Court starting in June 2016 through the end of the fall.
Duties: Work closely with the Judge on civil cases and various magistrates on other assignments, as needed. This is a part-time, PAID position with flexible hours to accommodate law school schedules.
Qualifications: Should have at least a “B” average and excellent research and writing skills. Prefer applicants who have completed Civil Procedure.

If you are interested in trying out for Akron Law’s nationally ranked Trial Team program, the time is here. Tryouts will take place on Saturday, April 16 in the CBA starting at 9:00 AM.
