Gurovich, Berk & Associates, APC Scholarship Announcement

Gurovich, Berk & Associates, APC, Los Angles, CA has just announced an

annual student scholarship program,and the winning applicant will receive

$500 to help with their costs of education.

This scholarship opportunity is open to undergraduate, graduate, and

community college students,as well as incoming college freshman. The

eligibility and selection criteria, in addition to the application

requirements, instructions and deadline are available on the Gurovich, Berk

Barrister’s Ball–October 21

SBA invites everyone to attend our annual Barrister’s Ball on Friday, October 21 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at The Tangier (532 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44303). Join us for one of the law school’s favorite traditions and enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar, photobooth (no extra charge), a live DJ, and plenty of fun.

Tickets will go on sale starting Monday October 10–keep your eyes on the Blog for further details! Ticket prices are exceptionally cheap this year at only $20 per person! All students, faculty, staff, and guests are welcome. Attire is semi-formal (ladies are generally in cocktail-style dresses, and slacks/jacket for the gentlemen). The library guide on Legal Citation links to CALI lessons and other internet resources. It also lists helpful books on the Bluebook and ALWD, which you can obtain via the library or OASP.
The library guide LARW: Legal Analysis Research and Writing has links to CALI Lessons on Legal Writing, writing apps and software, and lists helpful library and OASP materials.
