Professor Tracy Thomas, Director of the Center for Constitutional Law at Akron, seeks to hire two research assistants beginning January 1, 2017. Each RA would be expected to work 5 hours per week onsite at the Western Reserve Archives in Cleveland (open Thurs., Fri, Sat). The work involves collecting and reviewing historical court and attorney documents about the Women’s Litigation Fund and its groundbreaking work on gender equality in education and employment in the 1970s. The position runs from early January until the end of April 2017 and pays a stipend of $1000 for the semester.
