The Columbus, Ohio-based law firm of Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter is offering a first-year law student, who is a member of a historically underrepresented population a $10,000.00 scholarship, plus a paid summer clerkship position with our 2017 first-year class.
Our Diversity Scholarship is awarded annually based on demonstrated academic performance, accomplishments and activities.
Those interested in being considered should submit the following materials no later than January 31, 2017:
Cover page including name, address, phone number, e-mail address and underrepresented population status
- Resume
- Undergraduate Transcripts
- First Semester Transcripts when available
- Completed Application Questions (Please keep each response to one typed page):
- Describe a major accomplishment that has shaped your life, how it influenced your decision to pursue a career in law and prepared you for your future as a lawyer.
- Explain what diversity means to you.
- List any training and/or experience you believe to be relevant to this clerkship.
- Discuss why you have applied for this scholarship.
