AkronLawJobs No. 8627 Overview: To receive 2 credit hours you must complete 90 hours of work during the fall semester.To receive 3 credit hours you must complete 120 hours of work during the fall semester.
Projects may include: Researching best practices in the industry and drafting policies, regulations, and contracts reflecting the identified best practices. Updating existing policies by reviewing new case law, statutory revisions, and administrative interpretations, and drafting revisions to policies based on that research.Reviewing and revising contracts with vendors and others. Assisting with acquisitions and other transactions by conducting due diligence and research. Occasionally attending meetings with attorneys, management staff, and others.
Qualifications: 2L, 3L
Prerequisites: None required, but students with previous health care experience may receive more sophisticated work assignments. What is required are an eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
