AkronLawJobs No. 9078 Overview: Seeking a 1L who has completed their complete first year (graduation May 2020) to be considered for the 2018 Summer Associate Program. This program is designed to introduce law students to the practice of law at the Firm and to allow lawyers and summer associates to become mutually acquainted for the purpose of evaluating the interest of a future employment relationship.
Duties: Substantive legal work, professional training and social networking opportunities. Client work of the same caliber as performed by the Firm’s lawyers. There will be meaningful work and a heavy emphasis on practical experience across the firm’s many and varied practice areas. It is the firm’s goal to meet, employ, and cultivate law students and young lawyers who want to spend the summer at, and eventually practice law in, an energetic environment with outstanding attorneys and clients.
Qualifications: 1L (graduation in May 2020). Ties to Northeast Ohio or a desire to practice law in Northeast Ohio. Class rank in the top 15%
