We are James Kennedy Law, a Texas law firm that represents victims of personal injury and workplace injury accidents. Our firm is especially passionate about helping those who suffer injuries from drunk driving accidents and we extend that passion through our One Tough Student Scholarship. For the Spring 2022 semester, we are offering two awards each worth $1,000 to graduate and undergraduate students who have been affected by drunk driving.

- The student or their family member was injured by a drunk driver
- The student has a need for financial assistance, with an annual family income of less than $75,000
- The student is enrolled for Spring 2022 in an accredited U.S. college or university
- The student is a U.S. citizen
We ask applicants to submit an essay detailing how they believe drunk driving accidents can be reduced at a societal level and elaborating on what steps they can take to prevent drunk driving in their community. The deadline to apply is January 22, 2022.
