Embarking on the journey of higher education as a first-generation college student is both courageous and transformative. Kadzai Law Group, LLC proudly supports these trailblazers through the First-Generation College Student Scholarship, offering a $2,500 award to help ease the financial burden of pursuing a college or graduate degree.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a first-generation college student.
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. institution.
- Be at least 17 years old.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Scholarship Requirements:
Applicants must submit:
- A 3- to 5-minute video responding to one of the following prompts:
- First-Time Freshmen: What challenges do you anticipate facing as a first-generation college student, and how do you think the experience will benefit you?
- Returning or Graduate Students: How has being a first-generation college student challenged you, and how has it shaped who you are today?
- Proof of enrollment.
- Completed application form.
Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by October 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Selection Process:
The winner will be chosen based on the depth, honesty, and creativity of their video essay.
