Freedman Law, LLC is offering the Workplace Rights Scholarship to support students passionate about advancing workers’ rights and civil rights. This scholarship aims to assist individuals committed to making a positive impact in employment law and related fields.
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must be enrolled in or planning to attend a U.S. college or university in Fall 2025
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 from the last institution attended
- Must demonstrate a passion for civil rights and/or employment law issues, such as discrimination, harassment, wage theft, whistleblower protections, and union bargaining rights
Requirements:
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university
- Official or unofficial transcripts showing a GPA of 3.5 or higher

- A 250–500 word essay or a 2–3 minute video addressing the prompt: How do you plan to use your education to promote workers’ rights and/or civil rights in employment spaces?
Selection Criteria:
- Quality and clarity of the essay or video response
- Demonstrated interest in employment law and civil rights issues
- Fulfillment of all eligibility requirements and submission of all necessary materials
