Overview:
The Diaz & Gaeta Law U.S. Immigration Scholarship supports students who have been impacted by immigration—whether personally, through family, or in their community. Offered by Diaz & Gaeta Law, this scholarship is designed to encourage thoughtful reflection on the U.S. immigration system and to assist students who are pursuing higher education while navigating or advocating within the immigration landscape.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. college, university, or graduate program
- Must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have personal, family, or community experience related to immigration
- Must be a U.S. citizen, DACA recipient, or lawful permanent resident
Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- 500–1,000 word essay describing how immigration has affected your life or community and what reforms you would like to see in the U.S. immigration system
- Academic transcript verifying GPA
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance at an accredited institution
