Meet Your Benefactor

Brad Micklin, lead attorney and managing partner at The Micklin Law Group, LLC, is a family law attorney who focuses on fathers and men’s rights. Brad received his B.A. from Temple University in Pennsylvania before attending Widener University of Law in Delaware. Brad’s education has afforded him a successful and fulfilling career that otherwise may not have been possible, so he understands the difference an education can make.

Brad offers a twice-yearly needs-based scholarship opportunity to motivated students who may need a little financial assistance to obtain their degree. One scholarship will be awarded for spring and fall semester each year. Brad hopes that, through this scholarship, he can help members of the next generation make their mark on society.

Eligibility Requirements

The award is granted two times per year and is needs-based. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited college in the United States.

Award

The scholarship provides two $1,000 awards; one per semester to different students.

Scholarship Deadline

The current scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025 for Spring semester 2026. The award recipient will be notified of their selection by January 31st, 2026. Awards will be announced by February 15, 2026 (for Fall Semester 2025). The award winner’s essay and photo will be published on our website.

Young Legal Professionals Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Application Deadline: February 16, 2026

Overview:
The Young Legal Professionals Scholarship, offered by The Law Office of Kari H. Fawcett, is designed to support students who aspire to pursue a legal career. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help students further their education and take meaningful steps toward becoming future leaders in the legal field.

Ruhmann Law Firm Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $500

Application Deadline: December 31, 2025

Overview:
The Ruhmann Law Firm, led by managing partner Charles Julius Ruhmann, proudly offers an annual scholarship to support motivated students who demonstrate both academic achievement and financial need. This $500 award is designed to assist students pursuing pre-law undergraduate studies or attending law school in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be accepted into a U.S. university as a pre-law undergraduate or law school student
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Overview:
Henley & Henley, Attorneys at Law, is proud to offer the Dedicated Volunteer Scholarship, a program designed to recognize students who embody the importance of giving back to their communities. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate a commitment to service while pursuing their educational goals. One recipient will be awarded $1,000 each semester.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have completed more than 10 hours of community service in 2025
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring 2026 semester
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
