**Remote** Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) – Legal Intern (Paid)
The ODJFS team will train legal interns on adjudication procedures for unemployment claims and link them into their system to work remotely. Full-time interns who will be paid $17.91/hr are preferred.
The DeWine Administration believes the skills that are taught in law school can be directly utilized in the effort to assist unemployed Ohioans. Law students are taught to think analytically, communicate effectively, and apply facts to solve problems. Legal interns would not only adjudicate unemployment claims, but also resolve fraud issues and review facts and policies to reach valid conclusions. We expect that hiring legal interns will have a direct impact on success in addressing Ohio’s increased unemployment claim volume.
