We are excited to announce the 2025 NBLSA Nelson Mandela Pre-Law Scholarship! This scholarship is a tribute to the legacy of Nelson Mandela and his dedication to justice and equality. We are proud to offer this scholarship to African-American college students/graduates planning to attend law school in the Fall of 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must submit a proposal (500-1000 words) answering the essay question:
“As a future lawyer, how do you plan to leverage your legal education and skills to drive meaningful change and uplift marginalized communities?” - A current resume
- A transcript from all institutions attended
- Proof of acceptance to law school for Fall 2025
- Documentation of community service, extracurricular activities, and future career plans
- Attendance at the NBLSA Pre-Law Symposium on March 14th, 2025, in Atlanta, GA
