Murphy & McKinney Law Firm, P.C. is now accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Criminal Justice Scholarship. This $1,000 award is designed to support students enrolled in law programs who are passionate about improving the criminal justice system. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help cover the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses.
Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. law program
- Must be a U.S. resident or permanent citizen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must demonstrate a strong interest in the criminal justice system
Requirements:
- Resume
- Headshot
- Academic transcript
- Proof of enrollment
- A 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
- How to increase rehabilitative services for individuals under criminal justice supervision
- How to increase access to legal representation for underserved populations
- How to improve public education and awareness about the criminal justice system
Selection Criteria:
- Completion of all eligibility and submission requirements
- Thoughtfulness and clarity of the essay
- Academic performance and alignment with scholarship goals
The recipient will be notified by December 17, 2025.
