Overview:
Ashby Thelen Lowry is proud to offer its annual scholarship to support aspiring legal professionals pursuing their educational goals. This $1,000 award is open to students across the United States who will begin their studies in fall 2026 as either pre-law undergraduates or first-year law students. The scholarship is designed to help defray educational expenses and encourage future leaders in the field of law.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
- Accepted to and attending school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in fall 2026
Application Requirements:
- Completed resume
- One- to three-page typed essay on a topic of the applicant’s choice related to the area of law they intend to pursue
- Official school transcripts
- Acceptance letter from a U.S. institution
- Proof of legal U.S. residency (birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card; social security cards not accepted)
