Overview: The Pullan & Young Supporting Prisoners’ Families Scholarship was established by Pullan & Young to help make higher education more accessible and affordable for students affected by incarceration in their families. One scholarship is awarded each semester to an undergraduate or graduate student who has a parent or family member who has been incarcerated. pullanyoung.com
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a parent or family member who has been incarcerated
- Be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited college or university in the United States for the Spring 2027 semester
- Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
Application Requirements:
- Completed application form through the OVC Scholarship Network
- Required essay or personal statement submitted through the application
- Proof of enrollment
- Student headshot
- Consent to publish the essay and share the recipient’s name and photo if selected
- Any additional materials requested by the scholarship application
