Overview: The OVC Scholarship Network offers this scholarship to support students whose lives and families have been significantly affected by natural disasters in the United States within the last 10 years. It is intended to help students continue their education while rebuilding after events like hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, earthquakes, and floods.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The applicant and/or their immediate family were affected by a natural disaster in the United States within the last 10 years
- The applicant is an undergraduate, graduate, or law student attending an accredited U.S. school in the current or upcoming semester
- The applicant is at least 17 years old
- The applicant is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Application Requirements:
- Completed application with contact information and school details
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance at an accredited U.S. school
- Headshot
- 3- to 5-minute video response to the essay prompt
- Any additional basic information requested in the application
