The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO) in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking diverse students to participate in their summer internship program. This program includes paid positions, unpaid internships, and externships for credit. An exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills this summer. Clinic graduates use their skills in civil and criminal contexts as Public Defenders, County Prosecutors, Legal Aid lawyers, judicial law clerks, and civil practitioners.

Various U.S. Locations – 2016 Summer ‘Law Clerk’ Internship – US Air Force JAG
AkronLawJobs No. 7248 Overview: As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in diverse areas of legal practice while learning more about the Air Force JAG Corps. This is a PAID internship program.
Duties: Will work under attorney supervision in numerous practice areas of the JAG Corps including preparing criminal and civil cases by conducting legal research, writing briefs and opinions, conducting investigations and interviewing witnesses. Assist attorneys who counsel and represent Airmen, their family members and retirees in personal legal matters in areas such as family law, estate planning, landloard-tenant law, tax, bankruptcy, immigration and naturalization law. Will also support attorneys in other areas, such as federal tort claims, government procurement law, employment law, international law, and environmental law.

Social Justice at Akron Law – Monday, March 28th

Last SBA General Body Meeting of the Semester

Good Morning, Everyone!
Mark your calendars for Monday, March 28, because we will be holding our very last SBA meeting of the semester at 12:15 p.m. in room 301 of the library. We will be discussing the much-anticipated Barristers Ball and Elections for next year’s SBA leadership team (executive board). This meeting is crucial because we will be discussing how to run for SBA positions for the 2016-2017 school year.

Judicial Internship with Summit County Probate Court
