International Business Transactions and Conflict of Laws will definitely be offered next semester

To: Upper Division Students

We understand there is some concern that the law school may not be offering two of our international-related courses next semester due to possible low enrollments, so several of you have either dropped the courses or changed your plans to enroll. That concern is unfounded. The law school is committed to strengthening international law and business as a major center of excellence. We will definitely be offering both Interstate Practice: Conflict of Laws (which involves conflict of laws across both state and international boundaries and is also a subject tested on many bar examinations outside of Ohio) and International Business Transactions. In fact, we expect to supplement these offerings going forward with additional courses and working with law schools in Asia, Canada, and possibly even Europe. This is the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and work closely with faculty members who can prepare you for an international career either here in Ohio, across the U.S., or around the world. If you are interested in these areas, we urge you to register for this course is a soon as possible.
