Dress for success with free men’s professional dress items

Free professional dress men’s clothing items are available for UA students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, April 24, and Thursday, April 25, in Jean Hower Taber Student Union 308 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Thanks to a generous alumna, who donated an entire wardrobe of menswear to the University, items such as leather belts, dress shirts, blazers, entire suits and more than 200 neckties are available for free.

Cleveland, OH – Summer 2019 Legal Intern – Lincoln Electric

AkronLawJobs No. 10129 Overview: The Legal Intern will work with members of the legal department to provide assistance and support on a broad range of legal matters affecting day-to-day business operations. This individual reports to the Senior Litigation Counsel.  The role is required to assist on a day-to-day basis on general corporate, litigation, regulatory, employment, commercial contract and IP matters that arise for Lincoln Electric and its global subsidiaries. 

Duties: Assistance with legal projects on a variety of subjects, including litigation, regulatory, employment, IP, commercial contract and general corporate. Conduct research of legal issues. Prepare initial drafts of legal documents or correspondence. Assist with discovery in litigation, employment and IP matters.

Qualifications: 1L, 2L, PT 3L. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across the organization on issues with a sense of urgency. High level of competency with the Microsoft Office software package. Ability to search SEC and corporate filings. Ability to work with legal counsel in non-US jurisdictions on various matters. Ability to research legal issues and analyze results.
