Akron Bar Foundation Fellowship Program (the “ABF Fellowship”): To apply, students must submit an application to the Career Services Office at lawcareerplanning@uakron.edu or by hard copy by Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

Each year, the Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee presents eight law students throughout the country with a Regional Public Interest Award. Chosen for their innovation, impact, and commitment to public interest law, each of the students selected is recognized for providing extraordinary service through clinics, volunteer work, internships, and more. Recipients of the Regional Public Interest Awards will receive a $250 cash prize and a commemorative plaque.

The application is open through March 20^th and can be accessed on the Equal Justice Works website. Selected awardees will be notified by early April.

The Akron Law Public Interest Program: Applications for Summer 2019 Public Interest Fellowships will be accepted beginning Monday, February 19, 2019 and will be accepted through Monday, April 15, 2019. The University of Akron’s first annual Interdisciplinary Symposium (UA-IS) is seeking submissions from law students! Students who produce scholarly and creative works of the highest quality are eligible to receive an award and cash prize. Presenting at UA-IS will be free for all UA students.
