Accepting Applications for Fall 2025

At Hoggatt Injury Law, we are passionate about supporting workers and their families whose lives have been affected by work-related injuries. We know that workplace injuries can have far-reaching financial ramifications, including when it comes to a family’s ability to provide for their children’s educational expenses.

We hope to help families address this challenge by offering a scholarship to the child of an employee who has been injured or killed in a work-related accident. The Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship provides $1,000 to assist with a student’s tuition and other educational expenses at their chosen college or university anywhere in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements

You are eligible to apply for the Fall 2025 Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship if:

  • Your parent has been affected by a work-related injury
  • You are enrolled (or will be) in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university through at least the Fall 2025 semester
  • You are a U.S. citizen
  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have a current cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Check Your Eligibility

To ensure our scholarship reaches the most deserving candidates, please review the eligibility criteria below:

  • You must be a first-generation college student. This means your parents or guardians have yet to earn a four-year college degree. Please note that you are still considered a first-generation student if you have older siblings who have also attended.
  • You must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Our scholarship recognizes and celebrates hard work and academic achievement.
  • You must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university within the United States.

Miami Family Law Breaking The Cycle Scholarship

At Miami Family Law Group, we are passionate about issues that affect families. We strongly believe that by providing financial assistance through this scholarship, we will positively impact and assist a student looking to pursue a college education.

Our Miami Family Law Breaking The Cycle Scholarship provides a $1,000 award each semester to a student who has grown up in a volatile family environment and is looking to further their education in hopes of “breaking the cycle” of strife that they experienced in their childhood and perhaps continue to experience.

11:59 PM On June 4, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

Our team at Miami Family Law awards scholarships to students who grew up in familial environments featuring difficult circumstances. This may include but is not limited to growing up in a household where a parent suffered from addiction, where abuse occurred, growing up in a low-income single-parent household, or something else. Through your pursuit of a college degree, you are looking to “break the cycle” of strife and create a better life and future for yourself and your family. Other requirements to be a candidate for our Fall 2025 Miami Family Law Breaking The Cycle Scholarship include:

  • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • You are or will be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university for the Fall 2025 semester as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • You are a citizen or permanent resident.
  • You are at least 17 years of age.

Murphy & McKinney Law Firm, P.C. Criminal Justice Scholarship

The criminal justice system can be an intimidating and overwhelming place, especially for those who do not have the legal knowledge to cope with it.


That is why we are proud to introduce our new scholarship program specifically designed for law students who are interested in helping individuals within the criminal justice system. We are committed to helping those who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of criminal law. The Murphy & McKinney Law Firm, P.C. Criminal Justice Scholarship provides recipients with an award of $1,000 to use toward their tuition fees and educational expenses.

Eligible Students

To be considered for our scholarship award, students must meet all of the following criteria:


  • Enrolled full-time in an accredited law program within the United States
  • Demonstrated interest in the criminal justice system
  • United States residents or permanent citizens
  • 18 years of age or older

Additionally, the student’s grade point average will also be considered when reviewing applications.

Freedman Law Workplace Rights Scholarship

The Freedman Law Workplace Rights Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to a student who is passionate about improving workers’ rights and civil rights, spreading knowledge about employment law, and positively impacting workers across the country.
